This Asian Heritage Month, we’re proud to recognize the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society (VIBC), a non-profit arts organization that has spent more than two decades elevating Panjabi and South Asian creative voices across British Columbia.

As the producer of 5X Fest, VIBC brings one of Canada’s most exciting celebrations of Panjabi youth culture to life. The 2026 festival returns May 15–17, featuring a bold mix of music, art, and community programming. Highlights include:

🎨 5X Art Party — spotlighting emerging South Asian visual artists
🎵 5X Blockparty — a high energy outdoor showcase of top Panjabi talent
🎉 19+ Afterparty — an immersive late night creative experience
