Creative BC has opened two valuable opportunities for BC artists and music companies looking to develop new work and strengthen their business capacity.
1️⃣ The Demo Recording program provides $2,000 to support 100% of recording costs for one to two songs, pairing emerging artists with local producers through mentorship.
2️⃣ The Business Foundations program offers $2,000–$10,000 to help music businesses build capacity, infrastructure, and networks, covering up to 100% of eligible expenses.
Creative BC staff will host online info sessions on February 11 (12–1 p.m. PT) and March 19 (3:30–4:30 p.m. PT) to review eligibility, share examples of past projects and answer questions. Sign up here.
